How To Preserve YOUR Hard Earned Equity When Selling

Public Service Announcement To Anyone Contemplating Buying Or Selling A Home:

So what are the two greatest benefits of home ownership?? Take a guess! Ok, I'll tell you...The Appreciation and the Equity that you slowly build over time comprise the two greatest benefits of home ownership!

I want you to think about this for a second...If you're already a tenured home owner, think about all of the mortgage payments you've made since settlement. Calculate the total hours you've worked for the money that enabled you to make that mortgage payment on time each and every month! Think about the expense of keeping the home maintained, up to date, and now picture that for whatever reason you must sell.

So the FIRST thing you do is hire the FIRST Realtor you come in contact with who charges a 6% commission to sell the home.

Do you realize that when you pay a 6% commission, you literally just wiped out $30,000 of your hard earned equity! 30k is above the average individual American annual salary! And that's just in one transaction! Picture again the years of back breaking work to build that equity in your home...OUCH!

I'm sure that if you could save even $5,000 or $10,000 of that equity, you could do some pretty exciting things with it!

Look, I'm a Realtor. I'm not going to tell you that there is a NEW and improved way to sell your house for free...Remember, I do need to make a living somehow! But I do want to fill you in on a dirty little secret that most Realtors hope you never discover:

At 6%, It Costs $6,000 In Fees To Sell A $100,000 House And $60,000 In Fees To Sell A $1,000,000 House But In Most Cases The Workload Is The Same!

Ask me how I know...I have sold $10,000 row homes and I have sold $950,000 mini mansions and what I discovered was shocking even to me: the lower end houses often require more work from the Realtor than the more expensive ones!

So if the same exact Realtor provides the same exact amazing service regardless of the price point, why should the seller even have to pay a commission at all?? This is far from rocket science but what if you could pay ONE flat listing fee instead of a full commission?? Sounds logical right?

Then why aren't more Realtors doing this....Hmmmm? The reason why is a lack of transparency and greed. They often fail to disclose that all commissions are negotiable which by the way, is REQUIRED by state law. And this is the reason why according to a recent google survey, 67.5% of Americans distrust real estate agents...they fail to make the required disclosures and pretend that 6% is a "standard" procedure.

Sounds funny coming from a Realtor right? Well...Welcome to the REVOlution! We discovered a more effective, affordable, and reliable way for consumers to buy and sell real estate GUARANTEED!

Here Is A Very Important Equity Preserving Tip For You...Avoid This "Grave Mistake" Made By Many Sellers And You'll Be Well On Your Way:

"You're FIRST Mistake Was Hiring The FIRST Realtor"

Explore your options before hiring any Realtor! Real estate is NOT a one size fits all approach.

You've worked extremely hard building up the equity in YOUR home...and YOUR home equity along with appreciation are the two greatest benefits of home ownership. Think twice before giving it all away to real estate fees and commissions.

Sadly, 66% of home sellers hire the first Realtor they come in contact with according to the National Association of Realtors.

I hope you've found this information to helpful and remember:

Its YOUR Hard Earned Equity. YOUR Money. And It's YOUR Choice.
